From May 2006 to April 2007, 337 citizens have taken part to a formidable and innovative bottom-up initiative of citizens’ participation. Ordinary citizens, randomly selected in 10 European regions, have formulated their recommendations concerning the future of rural areas in Europe.
The Foundation and its partners are glad to share the results of this exceptionnal initiative.
“Europe in questions” presents the full results of the European Citizens’ Panel. Clear and accessible, it gathers both process and contents related outcomes, at regional and European levels: who, what, why and how, in English, French and German.
It is accompanied (on a multilingual DVD-Rom and online) by the regional citizens reports, the academic transversal analysis of the regional panels, thematic books that make complex European rural issues accessible to ordinary citizens, and much more. Videos on the initiative give a feeling of the European Citizens’ Panel in sound and images.
